Partners in English offers English classes for adults in Northwest Houston. The program serves adult learners 18 and older. Students ages 14–17 may be admitted with prior consent and when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Classes meet at Copperfield Church, 8350 Hwy 6 N, Houston, TX 77095.

Classes are held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

The cost is $35 per term. This includes classroom instruction, a student book, and access to online resources.

Final course offerings each term are based on student enrollments, but, in general, classes are available from Basic through Level 4.

No. The program welcomes adult learners from every background, including beginners.

New students attend registration and testing before the term begins so they can be placed in the most appropriate class level. Check out our Registration & Testing page for upcoming dates. If you are unavailable on those dates, submit a contact form to arrange for a different time.

No. Unfortunately, childcare is not available.

Yes. Students receive online resources connected to the class materials, and there may be opportunities for one-on-one practice sessions or conversation partners based on availability. Some students may be placed on a waiting list until a good match becomes available.

Partners in English focuses on adult English classes. The program does not offer immigration, legal, or multilingual support services.
